expiry date new colours

the original image of expiry date was basically just a way to get a feel for the character. i much prefer this new colouring -- grey fur with tri-coloured (burgundy, dark grey, white) hair. she uses masking tape to hide her pouch, and her ears have been pinned back so they don't stand out. she's the part of us that sees our animalistic instincts and qualities and hates them (humans so often forget that they are, afterall, just apes). she refuses to admit she's a kangaroo when, in fact, she is.

milk represents that part of us that cares and love for ourselves but is often detached and disconnected. some of us are closer to our milks than others. with expiry date? he's far away, yet close. he paints her with pretty symbols to make her feel beautiful. he hides her scars and pain with love and make-up. (her left eye is blind through no fault of her own -- he paints it black to make it seem somehow less menacing and more dull)

yay for me and my deep, deep characters (*KOFFKOFFyeahrightKOFF*). and yes, one of her ears is missing. she didn't tear it off, she has both, i just forgot to ink it in the second phase of the colouring.
